You are not your thoughts. You are not your feelings. This understanding is a game changer.
Often when I speak with clients, they have never considered this notion, that we are not, in fact, our thoughts or our feelings. They have never been told thoughts and feelings are really just habits we have formed by how we experienced life as we were growing up. Habits of focus.
We are, in fact, the energy and very essence that is able to observe thoughts and feelings. The awareness beyond them.
That awareness is not judgmental. It is not involved in stories or a repeated narrative about life or certain situations. It is a calm and curious observer of “what is” in any given moment. The quiet wisdom which doesn’t need things to make logical sense. The quiet “knowing” that sees beyond circumstance and into resourcefulness and endless possibility.
Be the aware that you are aware…….woooaaaaaawwwww…..different right?
Enjoy!
